Keilani Haddon – Camp Director
Keilani Haddon is the camp director for the BPTP’s Kid Summer Theatre Camp, along with help from her co-director Annika Ruelo. Keilani recently graduated from Crete-Monee Highschool, and now attends Illinois State University. She has been a part of the Crete district since pre-school. She has been working at Culvers for 3 years while juggling 2 varsity sports and 9 clubs all 4 years of highschool, so time management is not a problem for her. Some of these activities being: Varsity Cheer, Varsity Soccer, Math team, National Honors Society, Show choir, PBIS, Colorguard, International Thespian Society, Technical Theatre, and more. She was also the vice president of her drama club. She has been a counselor at the Kid’s Summer Theatre Camp for the past 4 summers and has loved every part of it. Before becoming a counselor in 2020, Keilani had been a camper for the previous 3 summers as well. She participated in Seussical Jr. as the Cat in the Hat, Shrek Jr. as Pinocchio, and The Little Mermaid Jr. as Sebastian. She has also been in every production in middle school and highschool, which is why she has such a strong love for theatre and considers it a second home. Although Keilani has many sports and activities, she is dedicated and committed to each and every one, and puts 110% in 24/7. Last year, she was named an Illinois State Scholar along with graduating Summa Cum Laude. In previous years, Keilani has helped to coach recreational cheer teams, so in addition to camp counseling, she has a lot of experience working with children. She is ecstatic to start camp and meet everyone!
